To properly store a prayer rug, it is important to keep it clean and free from dust and dirt. It is best to roll the rug rather than fold it, as folding can cause creases and damage the fibers over time. If possible, store the rug in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. It is also a good idea to store the rug in a breathable fabric bag to protect it from insects and moisture. Regularly airing out the rug and gently shaking it to remove any dust will also help maintain its condition. **

The choice between a sweat rug and a winter rug depends on the specific needs of the horse. A sweat rug is designed to help a horse dry off quickly after exercise by wicking away moisture, making it ideal for use during cooler weather or after a workout. On the other hand, a winter rug is designed to provide warmth and protection from the cold, making it more suitable for use in colder temperatures or for horses that are clipped. Ultimately, the best option will depend on the climate, the horse's workload, and individual preferences. **
