It depends on your specific needs and budget. The MacBook Air 2013 with i5, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD is still a capable machine for basic tasks like web browsing, word processing, and multimedia consumption. While the MacBook Air 2013 with i5, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD is a solid machine, it may not be the best investment in 2018. The hardware specifications are quite outdated, and it may struggle to keep up with the demands of modern software and applications. Additionally, Apple may soon stop providing software updates for this model, making it less secure and compatible with new technologies. It would be more advisable to invest in a newer model that offers better performance and longevity. **
